How can I keep my WeaveGrid account secure?

When you create your WeaveGrid account, you’ll be asked to create a password that meets a certain criteria to ensure it is a strong password.

WeaveGrid offers Multifactor Authentication, also known as MFA or 2FA, to increase the security of your account.

If enabled, you will be asked to provide a code after you authenticate with your password to access WeaveGrid.

Follow these steps to set it up:

  1. Log into your WeaveGrid dashboard
  2. Navigate to Account → Settings
  3. Click on Account Settings if not selected
  4. Click on “Set up authenticator app”
  5. Follow the instructions provided to set up an external authenticator
    1. Scan the QR code provided or click on “View key”
    2. Enter the code provided by your authenticator app
  6. Download your recovery codes and store them somewhere secure in case you need them.

Next time you log into WeaveGrid, you will be asked to provide the code generated by the app you selected.
